The former City Furniture has opened its new Wesley Chapel showroom on Sierra Center Boulevard, selling appliances, closets and kitchens as well as furniture.
City Home, the Florida furniture chain known until June as City Furniture, has opened its new Wesley Chapel showroom. The store is at 25857 Sierra Center Blvd., in the Cypress Creek Town Center area just north of Tampa Premium Outlets.
The company said in a release on Monday that the store covers more than 120,000 square feet. It is the first showroom the company has built from scratch under the City Home name.
What the store sells
City Home is using the new name to sell more than furniture and mattresses. The company said the Wesley Chapel store also carries:
- appliances
- closets and storage
- home electronics
- bath and kitchen products
- fitness equipment
- connected home, or smart home, systems
It also offers interior design, custom cabinetry and smart home installation.
“Wesley Chapel really brings the City Home vision to life,” Andrew Koenig, the company’s chief executive, said in the release. “We’re creating a destination where customers can solve more of their home needs in one place.”
The opening
The company ran a four-day grand opening with more than $90,000 in giveaways. It said thousands of people came. A Tesla Model 3 is among the prizes, and the company said that winner will be announced in the coming months.
The store is the company’s fourth in the Tampa and Sarasota area, after a Sarasota showroom opened in 2025. City Home said it runs more than 26 showrooms across Florida and plans more openings and conversions to the new name through 2028.
