  • Lettuce Lake Conservation Park, 6920 E. Fletcher Ave., Tampa, about 10 miles south: Hillsborough County built two new playgrounds in 2024 with swings, adaptive and sensory equipment and a scavenger hunt in which children look for medallions that identify animals and plants.   • New River Branch Library, 34043 Wesley Chapel Blvd. The branch has run toddler and preschool story times on weekday mornings in its meeting room, first come, first served, for the first 25 children with a grown-up.
