Mother's Day in Wesley Chapel 2027: brunch, events, markets

Mother’s Day menus and events are listed only when the restaurant or organizer posts them; none had posted 2027 plans when we checked. Market days and brunch hours below are the venues’ regular schedules, which can change by May.

Mother’s Day 2027 is Sunday, May 9. In Wesley Chapel the day mostly means brunch, and most of the town’s brunch tables are at The Shops at Wiregrass on Paseo Drive (center office 813-994-2242). Saturday markets the day before are the place for local gifts.

• The Living Room, 2001 Piazza Ave., takes reservations on OpenTable.
• Grillsmith, 2000 Piazza Ave., takes reservations on SevenRooms; 813-907-1900.
• RARE 1981 at Saddlebrook Resort, 5700 Saddlebrook Way, serves breakfast daily from 7 to 11 a.m. and dinner from 5 to 9 p.m. on Sundays, its website says. Reservations: 813-907-4446.

Gift markets

• Fresh Market at Wiregrass, Paseo Drive: the first and third Saturdays of the month, with more than 100 rotating vendors selling produce, plants, flowers, artisanal foods and handmade goods. It is run by Tampa Bay Markets. Hours change with the season; fall hours are 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Details

A walk outdoors

Lettuce Lake Conservation Park, 6920 E. Fletcher Ave., Tampa, about 10 miles south, has a 1.25-mile paved trail, a boardwalk through hardwood swamp along the Hillsborough River, picnic areas and a visitors center. Spring and summer hours are 8 a.m. to 7 p.m., with a per-vehicle fee.
