How admission works

Charter schools are tuition-free public schools sponsored by Pasco County Schools and run by their own boards. They have no attendance zones: families apply to each school, and a charter school keeps its own calendar and hours. Pasco County Schools lists them in its charter school directory.

For 2026-27, open enrollment ran Nov. 3 to Dec. 5, 2025. Every application filed in that window had an equal chance, and where a grade had more applicants than seats, “a system-generated, random lottery” ran Dec. 12, 2025, the school’s enrollment page says. Results go to families by email and on their SchoolMint dashboard. The page had not been updated with 2027-28 dates when we checked.
